Book our community Minibus or Van

The Highworth Lions community Minibus and Van are a vital resource for the local area supporting local groups, schools and charities.

How to book

Booking the Minibus or Van is a simple process.

1. If required, Download, print and complete the Application forms indicated below.

2. Complete the booking enquiry below with details of your request.

Please sign and return the completed application forms either to: Lions Charity Shop, 23 Newburgh Place, Highworth, Swindon SN6 7DN (Tel: 01793 766800), or – preferably – email a signed copy to transport@highworthlions.co.uk.

Note:

If you already have an approved driver or a driver pending approval, please include their name when submitting your booking enquiry.

If you cannot provide or nominate a driver to complete the application forms, and wish to request a Lions driver, please state this clearly in your booking enquiry with the words “Lions Driver Requested”, along with your preferred date and any alternative dates you can accept. The Lions will then try to arrange a volunteer driver for you.

  1. Step 1 — Application to Drive

    If you are interested in driving the Highworth Lions minibus or Luton Van and have not driven one of the Highworth Lions vehicles in the last 12 months, please fill in an “Application to Drive the Minibus or Luton Van” form.

    Note: It is possible to drive the minibus or Luton Van with a standard car driving licence, subject to certain conditions & familiarisation training.

  2. Step 2 — Application to use

    If your organisation hasn’t used the Highworth Lions Minibus or van in the previous 12 months you first need to fill in an “Application to use the Minibus or Luton Van” form.
